Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 17 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I had Robbins Energy install solar on my house! The crew was great! Very efficient and professional company. Handled everything with great care and appreciation for their customer! I highly highly recommend them for anything electrical! They have became my go-to company from here on out! Thank you Robbins Energy for treating the American people right!

Excellent prices. This solar and home battery company does excellent work at a very great price. I was very satisfied with my solar panel system and 2 tesla Powerwall 3's the system came with full home battery backup and plenty of solar to power my home and charge the batteries. They discussed my options and showed me the best route to save the most money while also getting the most out of the solar and battery system. If you are in the Fresno, Clovis, Madera area this is the company to go with. Tylar and his team are very responsive and professional.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Bonded

“team — not a national chain Licensed, bonded & insured 850+ installs across…”

  • Insured

“within 1 business day Licensed & insured contractor 5-star rated local team…”

  • Licensed

“Response within 1 business day Licensed & insured contractor 5-star rated…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Sanger is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
