Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 23 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Worked with Henry very professional and and explains everything. If you don’t understand something, he will make a point to come and sit with you to make sure you understand everything is going on. Thank you, Henry for all the hard work you do. I also worked with a young lady named Kari Who is very professional and will walk you through the process of learning how to read your Tesla battery and how it works. This lady is amazing.

I’ve been looking to get solar for a while now and every time I set up and appointment with a solar company they always give me scary numbers, till I found out about Viva Energy, they delivered the info in a way Anyone can understand. They answered all my questions and I’m so grateful for getting my solar system with them.

As A real estate agent, We typically encounter issues selling houses with Solar, but working With Hamdi Alghazali through Viva Energy and the services they offer I definitely recommend this company. They offer many programs dedicated to each person situation. Which overall makes A whole different experience than most solar companies. I’m happy to know I got well taken care off and many other clients.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“make solar affordable with flexible financing options that fit your lifestyle — from…”

  • Years in business

“a licensed Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience designing resilient…”

  • Licensed

“reliability in mind and reviewed by a licensed engineer. Brands we use: REC, Maxeon,…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
