Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Colorado. Across Colorado, 122 of the 216 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 14 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

I'm very happy with the job Solar Solutions did on my home . Fred Carter was a pleasure to work with . He's knowledgeable , honest and competent . Christine with Bulldog Roofing was also great . She handled my insurance claim and fought for my interests with the adjuster . My roof turned out great and from start to finish only took a couple of days . I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of Solar or a new roof. George Haywood , Penrose , Colorado.

I am so thankful that I met Frederick Carter when I did. He was very professional, polite, respectful, and very patient with answering all of my questions about Solar and the power wall. I would definitely recommend Frederick and his team to anyone that is looking for Solar. Solar Solution is the way to go.

5 months ago installed solar and battery back up have only had electrical hook up fees. No outages to test battery as of now but have confident that it will work great. Everyone says don't see now you have enough solar to run your home but so far it has worked great.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, family owned, bonded and insured, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Frederick is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
