Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Sadler Solar took on a half finished job on our home in Mission Viejo of another solar company going bust. They took over extremely professionally without bashing the prior work. Their time schedule and $$ budget never changed throughout the project and they didn't let us hang when SDGE became difficult and slow to deal with. I highly recommend Sadler Solar

Mike and his team were helpful along all phases of our solar project: from initial system design (including adjusting the sizing and placement/layout/tilt of solar panels to maximize production and meet our needs), submitting our interconnect application to SCE, smoothly and professionally installing the system, following up with SCE to commission the system, and training us on how to monitor our system. The whole team was quick to respond to our questions and got us up and running smoothly. We've been enjoying great energy production from our system. Thank you to the whole Sadler team!

Sadler Solar did a spectacular job on my solar project from start to finish. The employees were professional and respectful at all times. They answered all my questions, sharing details about inspections, etc. Casey relentlessly followed up on the application for operation with SCE. I couldn’t be happier with the service, installation and equipment. I would recommend them to one and all!

Reviewer names are not published here. Negative reviews are shown first because they are the ones a listing hides, not because they are more representative.

What reviewers keep mentioning

  • project 3
  • system 2
  • installation 2

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“why we offer competitive pricing and financing options without ever compromising quality.”

  • Family owned

“Sadler Solar Design is a local family owned business founded in 2010 in beautiful…”

Its website also mentions licensed and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
