Its one and two star share is 9 points above the typical installer in Illinois. Across Illinois, 47 of the 183 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 28 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

They started taking to us and giving up Quotes and then Ghost us. Then months later new sells man calls us and tell me the other sells guy left and he's so sorry and starts working with us. Gives me a price and said he's going to call back. It's been two months and nothing. I really feel this company is a scam or fly by night job.. Anyone that put more than a 1 start must work or be paid by the company to look better.. they don't have much on Facebook either. Be careful

They installed my solar panels and were great when it was time to put in. After 1 yr something went wrong and I tried for over 5 months to have them come out to get fixed. Tried calling numerous times, voice mail box full. Tried to email with no answer.

It’s been six months since Sige Solar installed my system, and I’m already starting to see the benefits on my electric bill! My monthly costs have gone down, and I can tell the investment is paying off. One thing I really appreciated was how the technicians customized the installation to fit my rooftop perfectly, making sure everything looked great and worked efficiently.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Warranty
“other factors. This estimate is not guaranteed and may not apply to all properties.”

Elsewhere

It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
It posts on TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
