I spent a lot of time looking around for the right solar provider. I was interested in a company that was well-established and not at risk of closing, leaving us without customer service. Before discovering Smart Solar, I went through two bad experiences with their competitors who misrepresented their services and solar power in general. Whether you are an engineer who is interested in every detail of your solar installation, or you are part of a family who just wants to consider investing in your home amid rising energy prices, Smart Solar out of Sherwood offers a nice local option, with a fa

A year after installing our system we received a true up bill from PGE. We owed them $13 dollars! Smart Solar’s estimate of our monthly cost was spot on. Incredible! And the system has performed with no serious problems. We’re very happy with the efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism. Very highly recommended.

No way it was that easy. I'm a busy parent with far too many work commitments and have been putting off going solar even though I knew the benefits were evident. Had I known how easy Smart Solar Energy makes the whole process, I would have gone solar years ago! I spent a ton of time researching and comparing before making a decision to go with them, but once I committed, the project took less than two hours of my time from start to finish. Jennifer is an excellent communicator and guided me through the process very efficiently. The entire team was a pleasure to work with, never getting annoyed

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Tigard is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
