The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 107 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

sales man was too worried about his other job to prepare for meeting had little to no information. Did not seam to care or know about the off-grid job I was there to talk to him about.

The sales guy Brandon was lovely and the company was very communicative and helpful through most of the process, but I've written several times over multiple months and never gotten my deposit back. (The HOA didn't approve the project, which legally they're not supposed to do, but there's not really any recourse other than suing your own HOA, a recipe for a miserable life.) It's been several years now and I've still never gotten my deposit back from Sol-Up. Plus their solicitation texts keep coming and keep coming, even if you reply "STOP" as it says to.

The person I worked with in person was wonderful and they answered all of our questions and I went into detail, from products used, durability, how they handle hiccups, how they handle conflicts, any relevant litigation, and user reviews. I weighed 3 different companies on all aspects of how business is done, and I chose Blue Raven, but it was really close. They used different products, but nearly everything else was the same. There were also several in depth reviews from Blue Raven from customers on performance at all stages that really cinched it for me that the company would stand by their

SolUp handled EVERYTHING from start to finish !! Adding solar is not just an easy task for a handyman; other than the skill and parts, there are is the building permit, the electric company permission and inspections from both. And, don't forget the HOA, if you have one. As mentioned, SolUp handles everything and keeps you advised at every step. And EVERY one of their employees was professional, polite, caring and educated in their particular expertise!!! I am located in Del Webb over in Somerset and every step of the process went just fine !! No more power interruptions for me, thanks to the

Couldn’t ask for a better job done, if you need to use no me as a reference at any time! Iff somebody wants to talk to me, you’re welcome to have them email me or call me. Basic guy would just tell him listen to what Matt has to say and you’ll be rolling.

Our experience with Sol-Up Reno has been very posiiive. Our local contact, Matt, has been very friendly, informative, and professional. The solar installation went as planned with no delays or problems. The installation crew arrived as scheduled, completed their work quickly and left the worksite clean. We have had no problems and our solar installation, including the Tesla backup battery, is exactly what we wanted.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.
What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.
Established
“providing top of the line products since 2009. Our foundation is engineering, and…”
Its website also mentions warranty and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.
Elsewhere
- It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
- It posts on YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
