Solar Detach & Reset

Each mark is one company we hold in Phoenix whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar Detach & Reset is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

It did not go well. The technician was given the wrong part so he could not make the repair. The part he was given came with the entire skylight, the metal and plastic parts. All he needed was the right plastic part and not the metal portion. I gave you the correct part number from Window Depot, but that was not what he showed up with. I gave him the correct part number but he said he didn't have time to drive to Tucson to get the part and come back and install it because he had a job in Queen Creek this afternoon. I don't understand why you didn't just have him finish my job and reschedule th

I am extremely disappointed with the experience with this solar company. The level of service and professionalism has been far below what I expected. Communication and support have been frustrating, and concerns have not been handled in a way that makes customers feel valued or respected. The equipment and overall quality of service have also been major concerns. For a company operating in the solar industry, customers should be able to expect reliable equipment, proper maintenance, and a team that stands behind the services they provide. Unfortunately, my experience has been stressful and dis

On the positive side the technician showed up when he said he would and was polite and professional. On the negative side he did seem heavy footed and broke a roof tile while working. I did have an extra which he used to replace it however I now have a tile that is not nailed down and was not considered usable when I had my roof replaced last year. I don’t know what he would have done if I hadn’t had the extra tile. Over all that ruined my solar panel cleaning experience.

Overall they got the job done. Panels were removed for roof work to be completed and then reinstalled. The system seems to be working ok, but I was quite disappointed with a few things: 1) Upon speaking with the sales rep prior to obtaining their services, I was promised photos before and after work was completed. I was also told they would be using a pallet to safely place the panels on the ground to store which could be placed anywhere. When the "installers" came to do their work, they were unaware of any pallet being available for storage further away from the "roof materials landing zone"

Diego and his helper got right to work after briefing us on what to expect. He is a knowledgeable and polite young man. No mess, no fuss.

So glad I found them! The owner was very helpful and answered every question and concern I had. They handled all the paperwork with my solar company and got the approval quickly. She was familiar with the requirements that the company wanted and all I had to do was review and sign. I highly recommend them!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Licence number

“Detach & Reset holds Arizona ROC License #331356 and reinstalls panels to manufacturer…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate, years in business, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
