One star because zero stars it not an option. My experience with this company is way less then satisfactory. Customer service is rude and less then helpful. They "had an audit" and found that they had messed up something with my autopay (that is required to get the so called discount) and decide to hit my account with multiple months of bills on a unagreed upon date. Causing a over draft to my account. When asked to speak to a manage, I was told that they would pass the info. on and I would receive a call back. Guess what? Still no call back. When I tried to cancel, I was told it is a process

Terrible experience with this company. I signed up with them two years ago and it took two years for them to get up and running so I gave up and signed up for another company. Suddenly they started billing me. I tried to stop the service but they convinced me I was committed to three months. I started calling and emailing when I got charged beyond three months. No response . When I finally got through to them they assured me that was the last month I would be billed . But guess what ? Another month another bill. For a service I never wanted. Now I will call and call and email and email to get

Easy to enroll, DIFFICULT TO CANCEL! Due to minimal and questionable "savings", I requested a cancellation 3 months ago and I am still paying through my credit card. Once they have you signed up they won't let you go. I am calling the Maine PUC to complain!

Zoe Maldonado was finally able totake care of my concerns, so she gets 5 stars. Solar Gardens only gets three. After using their services for several years I finally grew tired of the convoluted billing and decidedc to opt out. Took 3 more onths of CMP bills, and 4 months of SG to catch up. What a pain!

Solar Gardens has been providing my electricity for a few years now and I have been complelely satisfied with the service. Recently I realized I was using less electricity than Solar Gardens was supplying and have worked out a completely satisfactory solution with one of their agents.

Issues with funky login for weeks. Finally resolved with specific recommendations. Appreciate the assistance of customer service.

As a homeowner in Maine's mid-coast, I signed on to receive solar energy credits from Solar Gardens/Neighborhood Sun in 2024. Although I was motivated to do so for environmental reasons, it didn't hurt that the solar energy credits I began receiving cost 15% less than the amount charged by Central Maine Power. Everything was going well until Central Maine Power retroactively revised its invoices for the preceding 12 months for customers like me, who had been receiving solar credits from more than one community solar farm, and in the process eliminated three months of my earned solar credits. What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.
Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
