Its one and two star share is 5 points above the typical installer in Fort Myers. Across Florida, 205 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 48 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Fort Myers, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★25%

Each mark is one company we hold in Fort Myers whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar Techs is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

We have 24 dud solar panels on our roof!!!! I asked the salesman if putting the solar panels on our roof would give us electricity if my neighborhood loses power and he said yes. He lied!!! We also need a backup generator which he did not tell us we needed to get too. We lost our power for three days this week. We do have a portable generator but it is noisy and my husband has to stretch out 4 to 6 electrical cords. Now that Titan is being sued getting in touch with someone is impossible.

I called today to request service on a 2 year old ground mounted solar power system that needed service. Very straightforward problem. The man that answered the phone refused to offer assistance or service and promptly hung up the phone. Professional? I don't think so. No. I will not remove the review. I have the correct company. Your website advertises maintenance services. You were rude and uprofessional; abruptly terminating a phone call. I would encourage any prospective clients to contact Solar Energy Solutions of America, Cape Coral. Friendly, professional, readily accepts service calls

Titan Tech was paid to remove, and then reinstall, the solar panels on the roof of the house, so that the roof could be repaired after damage by Hurricane Ian. After the panels were reinstalled, I monitored the output of the solar system, and proved to Titan from the system data that its output was 50% of its prior output this time last year, and 50% of its output in the month prior to removal and reinstallation. Titan has dismissed this data, has not responded to dozens of text messages, and is unreachable by phone or text. I am in the process of having to pay Tesla to troubleshoot this damag

Best company to deal with all your solar needs. I met the owner and he is a wonderful ethical leader and his company is fantastic. Highly recommended.

Nothing but professional and courteous since the initial start to the very end. Ron helped put a solid plan to help solidify my home energy needs. Can’t recommend them enough!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and HomeAdvisor. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
