Its one and two star share is 13 points above the typical installer in Cave Creek. Across Arizona, 27 of the 269 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 8 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Cave Creek whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solean Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

My solar system has been popping the main circuit breaker. I’ve tried calling and emailing with zero response. I purchased the system through Solar Sandy. Solean Energy did the install. Both have been unreachable. Very disappointing.

[1/5/24] I'm not sure if this company is really still in business. They have virtually zero-communication. My system has been down since November 2023 and I have left multiple messages with Jaco, and the corp# listed here, and tech-foreman from the original install. I only received 1 text in early Dec saying 'I will have someone order a replacement.', but my original SolarEdge ticket was closed 12/4/23, and I have no idea what is going on. As I said, I have left many voice messages & texts & have had only 1 so-called reply. This is the 3rd failed inverter, and our 2nd inverter was down nearly

The Solean team is absolutely exceptional! This team is very knowledgeable, trustworthy and provides excellent service.

Jaco Van Rensburg and the whole crew at SoLean Energy were amazing! We had lots of questions about going with solar and Jaco was there to help answer all of our questions on more than 1 occasion. Not only did they help us get the best payment option on our solar system but the install was seamless and looks great, true professionals! These guys know their stuff and it shows in the work they do. No more $500-$600 APS bills for us, “ Living the dream going green”!

Hands down best and easiest company to work with! And extremely reasonably priced too! Jaco and Solean Energy kept me informed every step of the way. Our energy bill was literally $80 instead of $575 the same time last year. My only regret is not hiring Solean Energy sooner!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Cave Creek is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
