Its one and two star share is 4 points above the typical installer in Colorado. Across Colorado, 70 of the 216 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 59 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Would give zeros stars if possible. The panels were delivered seriously last April, 2023. The electrician who was hired to connect them said he wouldn’t do it because this company had not paid him on multiple jobs, and they have lawsuits pending. They are crooks, through and through but apparently used to do a great job. I do not recommend if you don’t want to be ripped off

I signed a contract with this company to install a battery system for my solar. I gave them a down payment of $8,500 over a year ago. When contacted they always have a excuse first it was batteries were hard to get now it's workforce. Have asked for a refund repeatedly. I would not do business with this company. You have my email contact me. After your contact with me saying you would get my batteries installed within two weeks. Still nothing getting done and my money still on your pocket. I don't want your company touching my house please refund my money.

Sopris installed my panels in 2018. In 2024 they stole my APSystems micro inverter warranty replacement. APSystems is taking 6 months to replace warrantied micro inverters. Sopris was notified of the failing micro inverter mid 2023, but neglected to submit a ticket with APSystems until Jan 2024. APSystems will NOT send a warrantied hardware to a customer's home for "liability reasons". So, after Sopris ghosted me and stole my micro inverter, I had to submit my own APSystems ticket. I am still waiting for the APSystems micro inverter, so 6 panels haven't been functioning for almost 1.25 yrs. Na

EDIT: In March of 2019 Sopris settled up with me. We are now square. …

I cannot say enough great things about Sopris and Allen! My SunPower system was originally installed by Freedom Solar, who went bankrupt and left Colorado. For two long months, I tried everything to get someone to fix my system—no luck. Then Allen from Sopris stepped in and completely turned the situation around. From the moment Allen contacted me, I felt like a priority. He quickly diagnosed the issue and had the inverter replaced within days. But he didn’t stop there—Allen went above and beyond by installing a new controller so I could move away from the unsupported SunPower controller. He f

Look no further if you are needing to hire a solar company. I had the pleasure of working with Nathan and Allen. These guys were reasonably priced and did an excellent job installing my Tesla wall charger. They also helped me setup the wifi connection to the car and recommended a wifi extender which fixed the temporary issue I had connecting it to wifi. All in all, I was very pleased with their work, professionalism and responsiveness.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“reasonable. They also gave me great financing options. I would highly recommend these guys.”

Its website also mentions 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
