After researching several solar companies, we were referred to Summer Hill Solar by a friend. The owner, Brendan, was extremely polite during our interaction with him as well as very responsive when we had questions. He spent a great deal of time at our home ensuring we had a complete understanding of what his company could provide to us as well as setting expectations on the amount of generation a solar system would provide to us. During installation, the owner was always on site and his team was very respectful of our home. We were kept in constant communication through out the whole process

After getting proposals and dishonest mis-information from Trinity and Solar City, Brendan was referred by a friend. Unlike the larger companies with revolving door salespeople who are clueless on the inner workings of solar, Brendan actually knows what he is talking about. Brendan offered a far higher end system for thousands less than the big box stores. He and his team are professional, timely, knowledgeable and courteous. If you are considering solar, this is a no brainer. Call summer Hill!

I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of working with Summer Hill Solar on a PV project. When I started the process, it was a bit overwhelming, but Brendan walked me through every step of the way. During the quoting process, I made sure there were two competitive (and apples to apples) quotes. I was not necessarily looking for the lowest price, but preferred the best quality. After speaking with Brendan, he came right to the house and did a shading study after hours because that is the only thing that fit my work schedule. He had a prompt proposal that was walked through with detail. Lastly,

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Woodstock is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
