So sick of these solicitors working for this company ignoring my two NO Soliciting signs. Enough already. When I do get solar, it sure as heck won't be from you. What you're doing is illegal, trespassing and ignoring my signs.

These people keep coming to my house. Won't take no for an answer and just keep coming it's getting ridiculous. I was in a zoom work meeting today when someone from the company literally popped their head under my garage door and said they heard someone talking in the garage. Like yeah people live in the house that doesn't mean you can let yourself in. Definitely never working with these jokers.

Unfortunately their sales people feel the need to go door to door and solicit even when there is no soliciting signs which is a misdemeanor. They will spam call daily. I never went on their website and they somehow have my full name which is very creepy. Their employees do not take no as an answer. Tried to call their management, and they were not available due to it being a Friday afternoon. I will not be doing business with this company because of their treatment.

Had solar installed 4/10. Installers were great. In at 8 out by 2. Only couple concerns I had we're about lack of communication. Told schedulers 3x by email to not have installers use back deck because it was not safe and about a car that was going to be towed. Installers had no idea about this. Also the site plan about where things were going to be installed specifically inverter and panels was never discussed with me. Didn't want it behind my fence and had to trim/ possibly remove rose bushes from location on front of house. Besides helping the environment and protection from future electric

I was able to shop multiple solar companies, and they seemed the most willing to help, educate, negotiate & work with us on buy vs lease. After a couple issues initially with the install (on a new construction home) we were able to determine the root cause. Support was very helpful in the troubleshooting process. Wayne, our main contact: What a rockstar throughout the whole process. Great communication, great knowledge of the technical side, programs, and understanding of local and state incentives. Couldn't be more pleased.

Derek. There are many places to get solar. The best customer service comes from caring for your customers. Derek knows this! This guy goes out of his way every interaction, and issues/problems never survive his attention to detail! Highly recommended.

UPDATE: It was a long process but they eventually came out and fixed the problems which is the most important thing. Wish it was a little faster and they were less hoops to jump through but I am glad its over. (FIRST REVIEW - 1 STAR) Sunrun did ok at first. Once I started having issues my trusted electrician took a look and showed me all the hack work they did. I reached out multiple times and was ignored.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
