  Tesla solar has the WORST customer service. Everything is done through an app and it takes them two days to get back to you. The inspection team is inept, only recommending a pressure wash at $1400. When it came to installation day the team said the inspection guy didn’t know what he was doing and they were going to need to call in to Tesla to see if they could proceed. 3 hours later they were pulled from the job and recommended a reroof. $13,000 later it’s been complete for weeks with plenty of proof sent in, original quote with scope, invoice and photos.   Terrible service. Not good quality. My system has gone down twice is 4 months it’s on 3 years old. Service wait times are 2+ weeks. Online support was not helpful. Do not recommend.

  We decided on a ground mount solar system because of roof limitations. These guys came out, reviewed soil stability and recommended the right type of racking system. The installation was finished within the timeline and they set the posts straight, aligned rows accurately, and ran the cables underground to keep everything clean. The inverter was mounted in a spot that made sense for future maintenance. They also walked us through troubleshooting basics. Energy output has matched the projections, which helps with budgeting. Their practical approach really made the project smooth.

  Tesla Solar handled our ground mounted solar installation on a rural property where trenching and wiring were a little more complicated than normal. They walked the property with us beforehand and discussed placement options that would avoid flooding during heavy rain.   These guys completed a solar battery backup installation at our home after several outages in our area last year. The process was easier than expected because they handled most of the paperwork and utility coordination for us. I appreciated that they spent time reviewing battery capacity and inverter options instead of trying to upsell every upgrade available. The crew worked efficiently and treated the property with care while installing the panels and backup equipment. Since activation, the system has switched over smoothly during short outages without us needing to reset anything manually.
