Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in the Dallas area. Across Texas, 399 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 157 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Every company we hold in the Dallas area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★55%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Dallas area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Texas Best Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

Texas Best Solar is well named. Spencer and his company deserve kudos for their professionalism start to finish. His organization is well thought out and well organized. They are very easy to deal with. The process is smooth and quick from start to finish. We asked a lot of questions throughout, and we never failed to receive prompt and easily understood responses. Aside from how happy we are with the product and process, Texas Best Solar is run by genuinely nice people. It's been our pleasure doing business with them.

Excellent experience working with Spencer and his team from Texas Best Solar! They recently installed our Tesla Universal Wall Connector and did a flawless job. The installation is clean, looks incredibly professional, and functions perfectly. If you are looking for a reliable, expert electrician for an EV charger setup in the area, I highly recommend Spencer and the team!

Texas Best Solar did a fantastic job installing my Tesla Wall Connector. Their Tesla-certified team handled the city permits and installation seamlessly. Great communication, clean work, and very competitive pricing. Highly recommend them for EV charger installations!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“call. Between your workmanship warranty from Texas Best Solar and the…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
