The Scottsdale Solar Energy Company

Each mark is one company we hold in Cave Creek whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. The Scottsdale Solar Energy Company is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

It took a few weeks from signing the contract to the installation of the solar panels. They were responsive to all my inquiries and maintained a high level of professionalism throughout the process. I have no complaints.

Before discovering The Scottsdale Solar Energy Company, I had no idea where to begin; I noted phone numbers on the sides of solar installation vans I saw, enlisting the help of locals and contacting colleagues in the solar industry who worked across the nation. My three solar-industry pals each made a different recommendation for me, and I finally found The Scottsdale Solar Energy Company, which is the best.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions financing, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on X, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Cave Creek is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
