A&R Solar

  A&R was selected to provide a quote as one of the PSE preferred contractors. Sales team came across as arrogant and pushy. They told us they guaranteed charge more than others and do the most installs. They then had way too many follow up attempts that come across as desperate. Even after informing them we went elsewhere. Overall it was off putting and I’d avoid going through their quote process.

  A and R installed an extensive solar setup and battery backup system into our basically new construction house. While I think they put in an honest effort, and I believe they are a good company, I am disappointed with the final result. Specifically, when the power goes out, there is a period of several seconds where nothing in my house has power, and then many of our electrical panels “trip” the circuit breakers as power flickers on and off during the transition. We suspect this has damaged quite a few of our electrical devices throughout the house, so we have added additional UPS battery back

  When investigating residential solar, I requested bids from several installers. The customer service agent (George) was more interested in talking than listening to my needs, and provided a comically overpriced bid. I don't know anything about the quality of their work because I was so turned off by the customer service experience.

  In 2018 a neighbor and myself researched solar companies that’d install in our rural area located in Eastern Pacific Northwest. A&R Solar was chosen who completed installation in our respective homes mid 2019. In 2024 explored options for taking my home off grid anticipating long hot & dry summer, never anticipated that fossil fuels supply would be threatened. In my final analysis A&R Solar was the answer again. They’re efficient, effective, professional in coordination of the inspections including integrating the generator that was recommended to backup my batteries in high demand times. I’m

  I had an amazing service experience from Technician Torin from A&R solar. He wasn't not only thorough in his investigation to apply the fixes needed on my HW but also demonstrated great customer mindset throughout his service. Highly recommend Torin and A&R solar for any project needs.
