The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 30 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Travis does not stand by his products and will ghost you after the sale. Does not respond to emails, texts or calls. His voicemail box is also always full. Avoid at all costs.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company has the worst customer service. Three of the panels they installed a few years ago have failed and shattered, creating a dangerous arc fault in my system, and now only half of my solar array is producing power. When they bother to return an email, the give out every excuse in the book, The favorites are "the guy coming out to your house called in sick" or the ever popular "We'll see when we are out that way again." and their new excuse "they don't make those panels anymore,, so there is no 25 year warranty on the panels." The second you ask wha

I requested solar install in Aug of 2025. Here we are in May 2026 and it’s still not complete. Absolutely ridiculous! They were supposed to do in 2025 but “couldn’t get to it”. To their credit they offered a discount to cover federal tax credit I lost from them not completing in time and started in 2026. Panels are on my roof and I checked system to see if they are active and it is not. I reached out to them THREE TIMES, literally just needed them to type two or three keys “yes” or “no” if it was completed and they ghosted me. I’m giving these guys one more week to finish after that I’m reachi

Yes, I used Albany solar over a year ago. I've been paying just over the connection fee, which is just over 18. Dollars a month for most of the ten months, and then, of course, the two cold months in the winter, you know, we'll get as much sun, so you pay a little more rest of the time. It's absolutely wonderful. Men were here just a few days Very professional , polite and efficient. We have stayed in touch making sure all is well. Still fine. They are always available by phone. Find photos attached

Travis and his team were excellent to do business with. Travis communicated throughout the planning process and the rates were fair and clear. His workers were prompt and did a great job.

Albany Solar Solutions was very attentive to my needs. When my previous solar company went out of business, I had no idea where to turn. Albany Solar Solutions has come to my rescue multiple times, dealing with my inverters as well as the panels on the roof. They have worked with the manufacturer to obtain warrantied parts when the manufacturer wouldn't communicate directly with me (not that I could have installed them myself anyway!). I will continue to use them for my solar service and I highly recommend them.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Insured

“owned and operated Licensed and insured solar professionals Residential and…”

  • Licensed

“Solutions? Locally owned and operated Licensed and insured solar professionals…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and family owned, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Angi, HomeAdvisor and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
