Its one and two star share is 24 points above the typical installer in California. Across California, 201 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 60 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

They left holes in my roof leading to water damage a year later! I now have to get a lawyer involved! BEWARE!!!!

In September 2025, my husband and I signed a contract with Enact and Bright Energy to install a solar system in our home. Permitting was completed by early November. Bright Energy was to install the components of the system and Enact was to provide the software and monitoring. Enact handled all billing. By December 13, after one installation date fell through, we paid Enact in full based on the request of Joseph Nelson, CEO of Bright Energy Group, who told us they could not install our system by the end of the year without full payment. He also guaranteed installation by end of year (end of ta

I called Bright Energy Solar Group to ask if they could submit my SGIP application for me. I had solar installed by Palmetto and Palmetto refused to submit the application on my behalf, so I needed a 3rd party who could submit it for me. My call was answered by Rami, who is a sales associate at Bright Energy. Rami was great, he patiently listened to what I was trying to do, asked a few clarifying questions and then pointed me to the company they use to submit all their SGIP applications. Unlike Palmetto, he actually helped me, even though Bright Energy wasn't getting any direct benefit from it

Great overall experience. Sales and installation staff were professional.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
