Its one and two star share is 52 points above the typical installer in Utah. Across Utah, 7 of the 167 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 11 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

As others have previously mentioned, unsolicited and obscure text messages to try and provoke a response to deliver a pitch, not a great look.

I didn't appreciate an unsolicited text message from Casey trying to sell solar cleaning services. Apparently I'm on some list of homes with solar and they think its ok to bother people who have not ever expressed interest in their company. Nope. I have no soliciting signs on my front door for a reason. Should we choose to look for solar cleaning services it will NOT be this company.

This company sent me a text as if they knew me and when I responded they sent me a sales pitch. There are much better ways to market a business than unsolicited texts! Also have no idea how they got my information.

I can't think of anyone who would do this cheaper. They take before and after photos, very friendly. The cold call (or text, rather) message was off-putting at first, true, but they just asked if a quote could be offered. Everything is done via text message these days, so you can't blame a brand new business for texting instead of calling. I'll be using them again and recommend them for solar panel cleaning.

Epic Solar Cleaning was a total game changer for us! I didn't realize how dirty my panels were until the technician showed me the before and after pictures. What a HUGE difference. Epic Solar Cleaning was professional, informative and easy to get ahold of! I signed up for the twice yearly plan and now I don't have to worry about my energy production going down! Thank you, Epic Solar Cleaning!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Thumbtack and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
