Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in Tampa. Across Florida, 194 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 76 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

WORST SOLAR COMPANY!!! My cousin Desiree and her husband Jose were going to get their panels through this company and decided to cancel after finding out that we’re getting ripped off and now this company is threatening to sue them for thousands of dollars and keeps harassing them. STAY AWAY!!! They’re sharks!!

Do not do business with this unethical company. They provided a written proposal, then tried to increase the price when the rep showed up with no changes to the service. The rep and I talked in detail on the phone . He could not set an appointment till 3 days later. He arrived more than 40 minutes late to tell me we couldn't do the deal as already agreed in writing.

Poor communication. Never responded to my messages.

Good worker came out to fix something that needed to be fixed. Other than that, it was an absolute nightmare to pay them. Over $200 for someone to just come out and LOOK at what needed to be fixed alongside them wanting us to WIRE money. What! Just let me pay with my card, you know, wiring money can incurr even more fees, so it ends up costing much more than the service was worth. I understand with Covid scaring people, but just let me at least pay over the phone. Don’t expect to overcharge customers and make them work to pay you. How does that even make sense….. Edit: was asked to update revi

I had several leaks under solar panels. One of their techs, Sam came, went into attic and found the leaks. Solar panels were not attached properly. Sam took off panels, took off, the attachments, put new sealant down, re-installed attachments and put solar panels back. GREAT job. Very happy with the work.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommend Florida Power Services! I am extremely happy with the service I received from Florida Power Services. I needed my roof replaced due to storm damage and reached out on a Friday to have my solar panels taken down in preparation for the work. They immediately arranged for the panels to be removed the following Thursday. Joe connected me with Cory from Lionheart Roofing, who went above and beyond to fit me into his schedule and got my roof redone that Friday. By the following Wednesday, my solar panels were already reinstalled and my system was fully operational again.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Established

“trusted solar design-build contractor since 2007, specializing in residential and…”

Its website also mentions warranty, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
