Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Maryland. Across Maryland, 59 of the 111 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 4 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

I recently had a solar installation done by GC Solar and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They walked me through every step of the process and made sure I understood everything before making any decisions. The installation was seamless and the end result has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend GC Solar to anyone looking to switch to solar energy

GC Solar installed my solar panel system about 3 months ago and everything’s working great. I’d recommend GC to anyone interested in going solar. They analyzed my roof and the sun I get to build the perfect system for my needs. I’ve seen solid savings, especially after these latest cold snaps.

We talked to 4 or 5 solar companies then decided to go with GC Solar because they offered to do a free analysis of our roof, to show us how much sun we get over the year and how many panels we’d need to save on our overall electric costs. GC took the time and effort to make sure it made sense to move forward, where the other guys just wanted to sell us a system. I recommend GC Solar to anyone interested in going solar.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
