Its one and two star share is 4 points above the typical installer in the Portland area. Across Oregon, 34 of the 106 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.
The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 170 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.
Every company we hold in the Portland area, on one axis
Each mark is one company we hold in the Portland area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Green Ridge Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Our 12.5kW solar installation with Green Ridge Solar was marked by persistent communication issues and project management problems, though the final installation appears to work as intended. Pros: - Competent installation team that completed the work in two days - Local company - System is functioning properly now that it's installed Cons: - Required constant follow-up for basic communication - Multiple staff turnovers disrupted project continuity - Poor internal communication about permit requirements and inspections - Engineering plans didn't account for roof features, requiring last-minute

It would be nice if my bill went down. My bill is the same I have called many times and still nothing. I pay the same plus an extra 170 a month for panels that don’t work. I called and asked about the deal my sales rep said about adding panels or them part of my loan and they said they would monitor my system. Guess what they said my system that was supposed to wipe away my power bill does not work. They had no solutions and said tuff luck. If you are looking to buy a solar system I recommend going with a different company. I feel like this company are the used car sales men of this industry.

Not happy with it people are nice but I was having issues the panels down for a month won't do anything to make the difference when it was down for there side of it and there main awnser was u need more panels when they made the quote of how many I needed and my usage actually went down since installed

A good company. They can and should improve their installation quality check process to be sure they don't miss something. In my case they forgot to turn on my battery back-up and never explained to me where the "on / off" switch for the battery was. This was caught by a team that came out to do a firmware update on the system months after the installation. This is poor Quality Control. One electrician, Dominic, installed my battery incorrectly! It was caught by ME. The original electrician, Ryan (who is excellent) came back and saw the mistake and rewired the battery and installed the wireles

I feel compelled to follow up on my last post. I continue to be thrilled with Greenridge and my new Franklin solar system. Greenridge has been great helping me figure out how to optimize my system in this ocean front environment and I love the Franklin system. We lost power this week (as we often do) and my battery kicked in so fast that I didn’t even have to reset my clocks. This whole experience has been great.

The Green Ridge people have been very knowledgable and easy to work with. I compared 5 solar companies before chosing Green Ridge. Green has the best overall package. DPA 18 months after my install i get a call from Nick at Green Ridge advising me that my system is having a problem with the invertor. Nick had already order a new part and said it should arrive

Easy to schedule, quick turnaround, and efficient technician. Green Ridge Solar completed a warranty inverter installation.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.
What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.
Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.
Elsewhere
- It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
- It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
