Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Hawaii. Across Hawaii, 53 of the 87 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 3 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Our company is a professional PV investor and we have built well over 100 PV systems over the years, using a variety of Hawaii PV contractors. But Hawaii Pacific has become our go-to contractor, for a few simple reasons: Good quality at a fair price, very professional and skilled crews that also work well with the property occupants where our systems are installed, and if something isn't right (which happens to the best of us occasionally), they make it right, no fuss, no drama. Their design team is excellent, and willing to explore multiple alternatives to ensure we get the right system for t

Rockwell Financial Group, located in Centennial, Colorado, finances solar installations across the US. We've worked with dozens of solar contractors over the years. Hawaii Pacific Solar is at the very top of our preferred solar contractors list. We've worked with them over an eight year period on more than 35 projects, totaling over 7 MW of installed solar. They deliver the highest quality installations, on time. They stand by their word, work collaboratively and with great integrity in everything they do. I would highly recommend this company.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“financing partners, offers several financing options for commercial, government and…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
