Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in Maryland. Across Maryland, 42 of the 111 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 65 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Crew was on time very hard working very proessional. Didn't waste a second of time didn't take a break. Such a polite group guys. Mike Caldwell are sales rep was absolutely amazing as well. In contact with us the whole time went above and beyond. Mike was our strength through it all we are in our senior years and don't like change, we are very happy it all went through. They paid for over $9k of electrical work for us plus adding the panels. We are extremely happy. We are recommending all our friends and neighbors.

I recently signed up with LGCY Power to have solar panels installed on my home. The salesman (Jesse) was polite, informative and above all HONEST. He quoted me a monthly amount that I would pay for the entire length of the contract. Unlike the "bait and switch" game used by other Salesman, the price "Jesse" quoted was accurate and had no hidden fees or add ons. It is so rare to deal with an honest salesperson. Thank you, Jesse!

Tyler my solar rep was very knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone I spoke with at LGCY was very professional and the installation turned out to be a lot nicer than I expected. Excited to save a lot of money and steward the environment at the same time.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“I Do? Solar production isn’t always guaranteed so there will be some months that are…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
