Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in the Anaheim area. Across California, 716 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 48 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Anaheim area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. NexGen Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Panels have shifted Hard to connect with the company to even try to voice a concern. Not recommended. Once placed on my house not once have I been contacted. But they withdrawal their money every 3rd no problem.

We had an excellent experience with NexGen Solar from start to finish. They installed our Tesla charger and upgraded our electrical panel, and the entire process was smooth, professional, and well organized. Joel was great to work with. He was upfront, honest, extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to educate us throughout the process without any pressure. You can tell he has a lot of experience and truly cares about doing things the right way. Heather was amazing with communication, reminders, and keeping everything on track. She made the process stress-free and always kept us informed. L

Have used them twice to fix another company's install. 2024 and again this week. Great response time, courteous, and just pleasure to work with. Thanks Joel and Luke.

We had Nexgen install our solar and are so glad we did! We had 3 quotes from other companies and chose Nexgen due to the equipment they offered. We had an incredible experience with Joel (the owner), Heather and Luke. They worked super fast to get our installation completed by the deadline we wanted. The electrician they use (Man) does incredible work. He replaced our main service panel and took pride in his work to make sure the conduit hugged our walls just right and also made the wiring in the panel beautiful! Joel made sure to use the best mounting equipment for our panels. Our neighbor wh

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

As Google published them when we last read the listing, not a live check. Ring before you drive anywhere.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
