Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Minneapolis. Across Minnesota, 26 of the 68 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 26 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

We were so happy when they installed our system, but now that it stopped working and needs maintenance, they do not return calls for service.

As we needed a new roof after hail damage they really did a phantasmic job not only evaluation with me if removing and reinstalling a 16 year old system or invest in a new one but also helping with our solar thermal (hot water) system. As an engineer myself I thoroughly enjoyed our many conversation about the pros and cons of each technology and manufacturer as they are not dead set on any given one like I have expereineced with others bidding for this job. While others typically overstate the amortization of solar system a bit we had very frank and honest conversation about what to expect. Wi

Love working with this company! The project was customized to my house. The work went smoothly and is working great.

After the original solar company we hired went bankrupt, my family and I were left in an incredibly stressful situation. Our project was unfinished, our electrical panel was a mess with wires everywhere, the solar panels weren't connected, and much of the work that had been done wasn't up to code. More than anything, we were worried about the safety of our home and our family. When Powerfully Green agreed to take over the project, it felt like someone had finally thrown us a lifeline. I know it couldn't have been an easy job to step into a project another company had abandoned, but they never

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“clean energy to customers for over 15 years. From residential homes to commercial…”

  • Licensed

“area. Turn Key Service PGS is a fully licensed building and electrical contractor.”

Its website also mentions established, better business bureau and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
