Its one and two star share is 11 points above the typical installer in Washington. Across Washington, 20 of the 99 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 25 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Solgen Power, now known as Purelight, is an overpriced, pressure sales company. They have been and are currently in lawsuits for deceptive contracts and egregious contract terms. I wish I could go back in time and never do business with this outfit. I now need a new roof (which they inspected and should have NEVER put panels on per the 3 roofing company’s I had look at it) and now they refuse to come out and remove and replace the panels stating they are too busy. Research thoroughly before signing contracts. I wish we had.

RUN! We just had our roof redone, after waiting almost 6 months for purelight to send an installer to detach our panels. We couldn't even get scheduled until they got paid first (over 5k). After waiting a few months to get scheduled we …

Overall great experience from through the whole install process.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions financing, warranty and 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Pinterest, Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
