Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in the Baltimore area. Across Maryland, 59 of the 111 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 24 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Baltimore area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Rising Sun Solar Solutions LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I can’t say enough great things about Rising Sun Solar Solutions (RSSS). I had been meaning to write a review about how fantastic the entire experience has been, but life kept getting busy and I never got around to it. Fast forward to today, and as I write this review, we’ve experienced our first issue with our system. The impressive part is that RSSS detected the problem before I even knew anything was wrong. They contacted me, explained the issue, and let me know they were already sending a technician out to take care of it. That level of proactive customer service is hard to find. When we f

I had a fantastic experience with Rising Sun Solar. They provided incredible personal attention throughout the whole process, were always highly responsive and took care of absolutely everything. On top of that, the pricing was significantly cheaper than other quotes I received. The installation looks sharp and clean. They did an awesome job. I couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend!!

The Solar system on my house went dead. So I called the company that put The panels up. They told me they couldn’t help me before the end of June. I called Rising Sun Solar Solutions. They were very busy, but could come by next day to take a look. They fixed the problem in about 10 minutes. They know what they’re doing.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate, family owned, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
