Its one and two star share is 4 points above the typical installer in Maryland. Across Maryland, 38 of the 111 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 22 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

I have know Richard and his employees for 20 years and let me tell you they nicest and most hard working people I have come across in a long time. They are very meticulous about the work, the materials they use, and finished project and it's not right unless Richard says it is. They are wonderful to work with and once you see the kind of workmanship they do you will not go anywhere else.

The installers at sunrise Solar were very responsive to our needs. They arrived when they said they would and worked long hours to get our job done. We could not be happier with the level of service we got from sunrise solar. We would recommend them to anyone interested in installing solar panels. They answered every question we had and earn a five star rating from us.

Worked with Sunrise on getting solar panels put on my barn to provide power for my farm. They were very responsive and professional throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them!

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
