The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 38 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

Terrible employees. They all have an attitude, can't drive, and do a horrible job of representing the company.

I am very pleased with my new solar panels. I have wanted to get them for a while and the soaring electric bills created the best incentive to invest. KW Solar was a “no brainer” after meeting with multiple solar companies. They have the most polite and respectful employees and explained the entire process professionally. KW Solar was always available to answer questions with patience and respect. It was a plus to be able to deal with a well established Eastern Shore company.

Excellent experience with the KW solar system. The installation was smooth, the system performs exactly as promised, and my electricity bills have dropped significantly. Very happy with the quality and overall service. Highly recommended!

KW Solar is a stellar company in every way. We knew little about solar energy installation but knew we wanted to mitigate rising electric costs. Mike, Joe, Luke and the whole team were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional from our first conversation through turning on the system. There was no high sales pressure, the entire process was quick and explained in layperson’s terms. They communicated each step along the way including detailed explanations of available financing, energy/cost reduction expectations, locating panels on roofs, fast/clean one day installation, etc. Highly r

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Licensed

    “for long‑term performance. • Licensed, Insured & Code‑Compliant - Every…”

Its website also mentions financing, free estimate, established, years in business and insured, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
