DO NOT HIRE JIM JANSEN / SOLAR POOLS YOU’VE BEEN WARNED I don’t normally write reviews like this, but after months of being ignored and disrespected, it’s time the public knows , especially those who recommended him as a friend, businessman and he does this , hmmmmm!!!!!!!! This is who your dealing with., very cowardly if you ask me...... In 2024, I hired Jim Jansen of Solar Pools to install a new inground liner. During that job, his team broke one of the pool lights, left it hanging in the water, wires exposed and floating like a jellyfish. Not only was it a safety hazard, but it was also a c

There was a discrepancy in what his original price quote for cleaning weekly. First year was $75 and then second year he raised to $95 but he quoted $75 and the I was billed $95. When I call and emailed questioned about the discrepancy he emailed back and apologized but then he did not return to clean my pool so I called several times to see what his plan was and he would not answer my calls, very unprofessional. I also had recommended him to a friend and he also quoted her $350 to open/closed her above ground pool and then charged her $350 just to open. WARNING, get everything in a written co

Jim provided outstanding service from start to finish. I am anew owner and I had a million and one questions about the upkeep of my pool. He didn’t seem bothered or angered by my excessive questions. His crew was punctual, professional, and incredibly thorough. The pool has never looked this clean, and they took the time to explain everything they were doing without trying to upsell anything unnecessary. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely takes pride in their work, but it shows in every detail. If you’re looking for reliable, honest, top-quality pool service, I couldn’t recommend them mor

We can't say enough great things about Jim and Solar Pools. We had never had a pool before until we bought our house. When we ran into problems, several other companies wouldn't give us the time of day - until we met Jim. Since meeting him, we installed a new pool liner and made many upgrades with Solar Pools, all of which turned out flawlessly! We continue to use him every spring and fall to open and close our pool. I would only recommend Solar Pools to anyone who has a pool or is interested in installing one!

This is a great company to work with. They help me open and close my pool and Jim is a great resource whenever I have a question. Highly recommend.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Licensed

“oasis for your family and friends. Licensed, insured and built on a foundation of…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• Google also lists this company under pool service.
• It posts on X. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
