TruNorth Solar

Each mark is one company we hold in the Minneapolis area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. TruNorth Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Xcel bill in July $13! TruNorth Solar installed my system 9 yrs ago. I am very happy with the installation and save a ton of money on my power bills. The company was easy to work with and did quality work on time and as promised. I highly recommend this company.

Everything was done on time per design. Great crew which installed my system. By using TruNorth Solar, would be the best decision you ever made.

Thank you to all involved in walking us through the TruNorth Solar world. Your install team from Jack to James - and all in between - were a pleasure to work with. It was a great experience and education!! If you're considering solar, we highly recommend TruNorth Solar! Tom and Julie Novak

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Years in business

“– our people! TruNorth Solar has over 133 years of combined solar experience!”

Its website also mentions financing, warranty, free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on X, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
