Its one and two star share is 19 points above the typical installer in District of Columbia. Across District of Columbia, 3 of the 22 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in District of Columbia whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. WDC Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I would not reccomend because the customer is more important than their money. And the priorities of this company is the customer's money. They have poor communication skills scheduling with the customer & are subject to stop one project that may take 2 days and run to another and not return to the 1st job in which they started and stopped for sometimes months.... I strongly suggest, advise & forbid you to get solar somewhere somehow else. 1/10 this is how I would rate them and this is being modest. Systems don't work or breakdown and maintenance repair is valued like the contract states they

Great customer service. These gentleman took the time to answer my questions about the DC solar panel initiative. Thank you!

The job was completed within schedule. All employees worked together from CEOs, assistants and technicians to ensure the completion of the job. I recommend this minority firm with no reservations to anyone in the community seeking to have solar energy.

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
