Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in Texas. Across Texas, 335 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 21 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I don't know who would give them more than one star. I personally would give them no stars. They took way longer than they originally said it would take. Most of their work is done by subcontractors that don't know what they are doing they are watching YouTube videos to see if they are doing it right. And the people I originally stated working with that worked for them no longer work there. It's been 3 years and they still haven't gotten everything done. My system never produces the amount of energy I was told and by noon the production starts good down. And on days when the production is erra

They can control the prices and give you a high payment. They also used old panels compared to the other companies.

I was hesitate about going solar so we took a while to make a decision. Mario from Soltech Energy was very patient and answer all of our questions. They installed within a week and system was on in about a month. Very impressive work! Highly recommended.

We were interested in installing solar panels in my dad's house so we did a lot of research. From all the solar companies in El Paso, Soltech Energy was the only transparent company. Accredited with the BBB and all their paperwork in place. From day 1, they stood out more than the others companies. Highly recommend!!!

Soltech energy knew that they were talking about and how to get a great system for the family! Very profesional and knowledgeable! I will recommend any one and everyone to get in touch with them for future renewable services

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
