    The local installers and team are great - local team 5/5 stars. Same for the product. However the Tesla experience gets a 2/5 stars. Most things went smoothly with two major exceptions. First, during the process I was assured that the team had submitted necessary documents to the local power company. Following several weeks of waiting, when I called the power company they confirmed my concerns - no one from Tesla ever submitted anything. If I had not made these calls, the process would have been stalled indefinitely. Second, when I signed the contract to install Powerwall + expansion, included

    Tried to schedule a solar consultation with Tesla. Somebody began texting me to confirm the time and ask about the existing solar on my house that was part of a PPA. I told them I didn't want to add to it but was interested in a separate system install, but then the person texting abruptly stopped replying and I received an email that the consultation was cancelled. Isn't that the point of a scheduling a consultation?? So I can ask questions, you can ask questions, and I can find out what options I may or may not have? From the first contact it quickly felt like they were looking for a reason

    I believe your people, including Seth, Chris and others, misled me as to the back up power storage capability - in days- during a utility power outage! Seth told me to expect 8 to 10 days and I can’t validate it - AND NO ONE- now responds to my request for verification and help! Geraldine- Project Advisor- must be a robot and responds only when she feels like it. Incredible expense to install, paid in full, and I hope someone will arrange to see me!!

    Tesla Energy installed a 13.2Kw, 31 panel solar system for me in May, 2026. Processing the application with Xcel took a couple of months but once the install of all the related components was approved, the highly experienced 3 man Tesla installation crew completed the job perfectly. It took about a month after the completed install to get Permission to Operate (PTO) from Xcel. Now we are sending more power to the grid than we are using. Xcel stores these credits for future use when we need them. We use three Tesla powerwalls to provide overnight electricity for the entire home when no solar is
